"Giclee printing" which I prefer to call "fruss printing" is actually a high-quality print not unlike regular inkjet printing. This method has become very popular for making reproductions of works of art where there are limited editions. Frustration printing gives artists the opportunity to print, inexpensively in high quality, their works in a small number of copies. With older methods, it was customary to print much more copies. With this technology, it is possible to print on different materials, e.g. watercolor on watercolor paper, oil painting on canvas, etc. The same image can be printed in different sizes, thus approaching the customer's wishes each time.
